Craft

Craft utilizes a nested document structure rather than a strict folder hierarchy. This allows users to embed pages within pages, creating a web of information. Buyers should evaluate if this document-in-document approach suits their mental model for organization or if they prefer a more traditional file-and-folder system found in standard operating systems.

While Craft supports sharing and collaborative spaces, its primary focus is on the writing experience. Teams should verify the real-time editing performance and permission controls. It is best suited for teams that need to produce shared documentation or internal wikis rather than those requiring complex database-driven project management or automated task workflows.
